Glow & Brightening Serum

This is my first time trying a product from Arrnue, and I really really love it. It’s winter where I live, and the air is dry and so uncomfortable. Couple that with my naturally dry skin, and my face feels like it’s going to fall off some days. Some days, even my most soothing cream hurts my poor dehydrated face. When that happens, I usually stop all the actives, and use super mild products, and oils. So I was hoping this PDRN oil face serum would be healing, and it is!

My post face washing routine is, applying a soothing, milky toner, then two pumps of this serum, and let it soak. Then I add another two pumps of serum, and eye cream. I top all those layers with an occlusive cream. If it’s daytime, I add sunscreen.

Since adding this serum, my skin has felt much more hydrated, even after a long day out, or at work. I’ve also noticed that the skin around my eyes look more moisturized. And after using it everyday for less than one week, my skin is no longer feeling overly sensitive.

I highly recommend this serum. And honestly, I think it would be great for someone with oily or combo skin also. Even thought there’s oil in the ingredients, it doesn’t feel greasy, nor does it leave a film. My skin tends to clog easily, and this serum hasn’t done so. The value is there for sure. It’s priced fairly, and even slightly lower than most PDRN serums, and its effectiveness makes it worth it. This is a definitely a product I’ll buy again. I try a lot of different skin products, and I am fairly critical of a lot of it, but I’m adding this one to my HG list.

Arrnue Red PDRN Oil Drop Face Serum

I was so excited to try this serum from Arrnue, which features a vegan PDRN. This serum also contains some other skin friendly ingredients like niacinamide, olive oil, peach flower extract, eucalyptus oil, bergamot oil, and hyaluronic acid. It is recommended that if you have an eczema flare up to avoid putting this product onto the compromised skin. Since I do have eczema, I chose to use this product only once per day while avoiding active ingredients in other products. I carefully monitored my skin condition, and I didn't have any issues.

This serum is lightweight with a gel consistency and no added fragrance. I used two pumps on my face and neck, and the serum spread well and my skin absorbed it well. After using, my skin did look and feel more hydrated. My skin was also glowy, smooth, and more even-toned. My pores did look a little smaller. I like the immediate results I have received from using this product and I'm thinking that it will only get better with consistent and continued use.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this product, as this is a brand that I’m not familiar with, but I was really excited to try out a vegan PDRN formula, since the typical kind made from salmon had always weirded me out.

I’ve been using this product daily for a few weeks now, and I’ve been very pleased with it so far. I’ve tried using it both by itself after washing my face, and by using it in combination with a toner and moisturizer as suggested. Even used by itself, it doesn’t dry out my skin at all and it didn’t have any other negative effects on my face. My face is somewhat sensitive to certain creams and lotions, and this product doesn’t irritate at all.

Even though the outer box is pretty plain, the bottle itself looks nice and is well-made. It caps on and off easily, and the pump works without issue. Overall, this is a high quality product and I would say is a great vegan alternative to the more commonly-seen types of PDRN.
